It’s been weeks since this post.. so sorry for taking so long to respond. Has it warmed up in Minnesota, or are you in the middle of another freeze?

Looks wonderful, but a bit worrying without those winter rains. Hey, so why the name change? Just wondering what prompted you?

Sorry for taking soooo long to respond! Life took over there for a while. I’ve never really been totally happy with “A Nature Mom”, and I’ve been trying to come up with something perhaps more descriptive. Not sure if the new name is an improvement, but I’m trying. πŸ™‚

  3. We’re getting the same in the northwest. I love the sun but the dryness really worries me because of fire danger. Great photos – as usual!

I didn’t realize the drought was effecting the Pacific Northwest, too! Hope you’ve had your share of rains since I made this post.

      1. Yes we have gotten some pretty good rains since then. But we’ll need a lot more to make up for the losses; as I am sure you will. thanks!

Oh it must be extremely dry – no green velvet hills in January.

After a couple rains since this post (not nearly enough rain..), the hills are finally turning green!

Great! Nature needs the rain so the plants can grow and the critters can eat.
