We visited my parents this weekend, who still live in the home where I was raised.  Whenever we visit, my son likes to play with my old childhood toys.  This one is a classic, the Fisher-Price “Play Family Sesame Street”.  I loved this set!  This will clearly date me, but this toy was only produced from 1975 to 1979.  Watching my 6-year-old play with the set, as I used to, brings back a flood of memories.  He prefers to play with this outside, in the backyard, while taking a break from playing in the pool.  My friends and I spent countless summer hours alternating swimming with deck playtime in just this way.

Fisher Price makes the best, most long lasting toys. They’re classics that are hard to beat. Sharing that time of your life with your son is priceless!

    1. My son had a few Little People sets when he was younger, but seems to have outgrown them. He played with them a ton, and they still seem like new! I’m glad he still enjoys playing with my old childhood ones when we visit my parents. 🙂

It must be a wonderful experience to see your own child play with toys you used to play with.
