Three photos of my son from our walk through the UC Botanical Garden at Berkeley last week. Can you spot the pattern?

Yep! No matter where we go, he’s playing in the dirt.

Yes, I was just looking through old photos this morning, ordering prints from when my son was one, two, and three, and I came across quite a few of him playing in the dirt!

🙂 I’m happy to report that the tooth that’s sticking out (we call it the fang) has finally come out! Though I am glad to have captured many photos of him smiling with it.

Sweet pictures. I remember trips to the zoo when all the kids wanted to do was play with the gravel on the paths and chase the pigeons.

Haha.. at the zoo, my son is more into playing with sticks he finds in the bushes. 🙂

Wonderful images! Just like both my boys when they were young…if there was dirt, they would be in it!

Agreed! Not only does soil sustain life, but dirt is beneficial for children in so many ways, physically, mentally, and emotionally. Kids need dirt. 🙂
