This Friday! National Public Gardens Day

This Friday, May 10th, is National Public Gardens Day.  To celebrate the event, Better Homes and Gardens magazine is offering readers a free admission coupon for two to visit participating public gardens, arboretums, and green spaces on this day.  Head on over to the Better Homes and Gardens National Public Gardens Day page… www.bhg.com/gardening/arboretums/celebrate-national-public-gardens-day/  … to find a participating garden near you and to download your voucher for free admission.

In honor of our local public gardens, this week I’ll be sharing images taken from participating public gardens of the San Francisco East Bay.  Here are a few shots I took yesterday from the UC Botanical Garden at Berkeley.

  2. I’m so glad you posted about this. I’d heard about it and have plans to visit one that’s new to me, but I didn’t previously know you needed to take a voucher for the free admission. I hope many people take advantage of the opportunity. Thank you for the link!

    1. Enjoy! I secured a voucher in order to visit a nearby garden I’ve never been to. Looking forward to it!
