Fun! Magic Mountain Playground, San Mateo

I have to rate this playground one the best in the entire San Francisco Bay Area.  We’ve been here a few times over the years, and it’s always so much fun.  If you have a kid who’s into knights, princesses, dragons, and/or castles, this park is a must-visit.  The three-story slide is a highlight!

Interested in going?  Magic Mountain Playground is located within the Coyote Point Recreation Area in San Mateo.  Here’s a link to the Great Kids Parks website for more information…  www.great-kids-parks.com/coyote-point-san-mateo-ca.html .  While you’re here, I strongly recommend a visit to CuriOdyssey,a beautiful museum filled with wildlife and science exhibits.  For anyone interested in the local wildlife of the San Francisco Bay Area, this museum should be on their mus-visit list.  And don’t forget to pack a picnic lunch.  There are many scenic areas within the recreation area, many with gorgeous views of the bay.  Entry to the Coyote Point Recreation Area is currently $6.00/vehicle.

We have one in Norman Oklahoma that the children call “Ninja Warrior Park” – it’s a wooden version of the one in your post…although not nearly as tall!
