The pomegranates are cute when they’re small, like they are now. They may not be so pretty when ready for picking in the fall.

  4. Are plums still in season? I had a friend share w/ me her plum jam. It was divine and has totally inspired me to try making it myself. It never dawned on me that they would still be in season???

Yes. Different varieties and different regions ripen at different times. These were almost ready to pick, but not quite yet.

In your first picture, is that a stick bug I’m looking at on the leaf?

I got that part! I’m looking ON the leaf below the dragonfly… Looks like a stick bug… maybe it’s my vivid imagination!

Hahaha! OK, now I see what you’re looking at. I think it’s just a branch, but when I was a kid I found stick bugs all over this yard. So… it’s possible!
